Still, if I was able to listen through it it was definitely tolerable, I really try not waste my time on bad narrations, no matter how much I love the book. Saying that, be prepared for slightly weird sentence inflection and some awkward name pronunciations. When she stumbles upon an Italian Goddess cookbook, Lina cant help but think shes found the answer to her problem-even if it means invoking a goddess to save her business. This book (and hopefully the rest of them) the narrator seems to have found her flow a lot better, and I was able to get through the slightly less awkward narration and enjoy my favorite book in of the series. Cast brings us the magical, sensual Goddess Summoning series, which retells ancient myths with a sexy, modern twist. I will admit that trying to listen to the first book was lamentable and I could not even get past the first chapter and goddess knows I tried just skipping ahead, but that was awful too.
I love these books, the first two in particular, as they are all well written and bring a new perspective to the myths within their pages.
